@11:04 PM

& the sun has made a thousand nights for you to hold;

tea rocks :) its lime, lychee & passionfruit flavour which might sound odd but somehow lipton always manages to mix like all kinds of random flavours and make it taste dreamworthy.

teacher's day tomorrow! i've gotten pnah's & rkhoo's presents ready, we're giving them as a class basically & if there ever is an award for most creative gift-giving we'd totally claim it! but meanwhile im really hyper because today when i went to peps to tutor yiqun, ros and xiyun as usual, guess what?

THEY GAVE ME A CARD AND A PRESENT!
FOR TEACHER'S DAY!

its like so darn sweet can. & they said although i just peer-tutor them im still considered their teacher so they should give me stuff too. whee hope they jiayou for their psle's!

then i went home and practised piano for an hour or so, showered, decided to hop over to west mall quickly to get mr nah's stuff. (details will be revealed tomorrow after the gifts have been given!) so after i got the _____, saw that there was a terrible downpour & considering i just showered i didnt want to get wet again so i roamed the basement of west mall for a while, & bengawan solo's starting to sell their like flavoured snow-skin TINY mooncakes at obscene prices but it looks so nice - drools -. but, guess what i found?

BANANA MUFFINS!
yes all the while i've been obsessing over them i never knew they were available so near my house, because i used to go to like je library & mrs fields and all kinds of random places to eat them. so MUAHAHAHA i bought 4 muffins, the last ones they had left, $1 each and will be eating them for breakfast tomorrow! :) cant wait. (not all of them by myself, one each for my family larh!)

then i had to call auntie to come and give me an umbrella so i could go home! rush rush rush, ate dinner & then pa came home & sent me off to piano! theory first, 45 mins, then piano which gah i felt horrible about because i couldn't play anything properly & i tuo-ed so much time ybb couldn't finish the stuff she wanted to go through with me like more sight-reading & e duet thing she wanted to try. ybb is nice though, but i think she's really disappointed with me.

ALENA WAN JIAYOU PIANO EXAMS ARE NEXT FEBRUARY! gah i feel darn shibai up to now i still can't play one entire piece properly, how the heck am i going to survive 35 mins of repertoire! whee will take opportune of the holidays from today to next sunday to try to practice 2 hours a day.

then pa told me he had a conference call so i had to go home on my own, t which i wouldnt have minded at all if not for the fact that i had been carrying a carton of fruit juice, like those boxes which have like 24 250ml packets? was so bulky and inconvenient and quite heavy so yeah. oh well! at least we'll all have slighter healthier drinks tomorrow :) reached home at 9.40.

the glorifying exam timetables came out today. quite annoying that all our exams except the third lang, hmp, aep, music, art are in the hall which is NOT a conducive environment for er, calculating or writing or anything of the sort.

oh well, not too fluttered about that, rather, am more worried about music exam because i dont anything about what's going to be tested for practical! i mean technically we SHOULD be tested on our 2nd instrument, but the time allocation given isn't enough for testing both 1st and 2nd. GAH so i dont know what to practice.

and we wont be seeing mr matthewlim until, term 4.

oh well no point getting stressed over it now! tonight is clear-backlog-completely night, & i have herstory, math stats poster, math worksheets to complete. should get started now :)

i am convinced that the world is a beautiful place full of good people.
taking some info from the newspapers as an example,

the woman who looked after her neighbour who had a terrible accident. even the neighbour's own family had abandoned her, but the woman took her in as if she was her daughter and has been looking after her since then.

more touchingly, how some guy managed to raise funds for a blind child from Nepal or something to fly to Singapore to operate on his eye. in the newspapers it says "an anonymous eye specialist did the operation for free". i think its really gratifying to know that s'pore has people like that who're willing to do really amazing things and remain anonymous. <3, as opposed to certain individuals who announce to the world that they're UN ambassadors. rolls eyes.

& i embraced the world;
